This photograph was taken from near the Fire Lookout atop Mt. Scott.  It is of the west face of Mt. Scott as the setting sun provided a beautiful warm glow. Looking south from the ridge (in the background) is the Klamath Basin and the Sky Lakes Wilderness of the Cascades Mountains. In the foreground is a windswept Whitebark pine tree.  -- Robert Mutch
