The Castle Crest
Wildflower Garden can be a tough place to photograph.
Nestled up against the steep walls of Garfield Peak,
direct sunlight doesn't appear until 9 or 10 in the
morning. However, this young Mountain Hemlock had just
caught the light (and my attention). With fresh morning
dew, I shot this young tree using more of the Hemlock's
