Elise Bush enjoys studying the flora, fauna, and landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. She works in watercolor, oil, or egg tempera and maintains a studio at the Troutdale Art Center at the “Gateway to the Columbia Gorge.” Before moving to Oregon in 1996, Elise earned an MFA in Medical/Biological Illustration at the University of Michigan. She is a member of the Oregon Botanical Artists, Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, and Native Plant Society of Oregon. Meanwhile, she works as a health education designer for Wellsource, Inc. in Clackamas, Oregon.
