Members of the Midland Community Action Team are looking for
recipes to include in an upcoming cookbook.
Rick Hadley said the cookbook will celebrate this year's
centennial celebration at Crater Lake National Park.
The cookbook will be printed by a publisher who has stipulated
that it include recipes from a minimum of 250 individuals. So
far, recipes have been received from more than a hundred people.
"What I need is for all of you to submit at least one recipe and
then ask a spouse, friend, co-worker, or the entire staff at
your place of employment if they will do the same," said Hadley.
"Please help us get the word out so we can do this project
without asking for grant funding."
Hadley emphasized that recipes need to be submitted by Thursday,
Feb. 28.
