Doerr Acting Head of Rocky Mtn. Park

Estes Park, Colo., Aug. 9 - George W. Miller, acting superintendent of the Rocky Mountain National Park, said John E. Doerr, chief of the naturalist division in the interior department's branch of natural history, was appointed acting superintendent of the park.

Doerr is expected to arrive August 15 from Washington, with Miller retaining his official position as assistant superintendent. Doerr will serve as acting superintendent during the absence of Supt. David H. Canfield. Doerr formerly was naturalist at Crater Lake National Park.
