The park service said the Glacier association received $3000 from Miss Frank R Oastler, New York and $500 from Dr George C Ruhle, a Kankakee, Ill., native who is park naturalist at Crater Lake National park, Oregon.

Mrs. Oastler is the widow of a noted conservationist, one of the first white men to explore the Surprise Pass area of Glacier National park 'Oastler's Castle' a striking formation in Bryce Canyon National Park Utah, was named for her husband.

Dr Ruhle formerly was a Glacier National park naturalist.
