New Staff Man Assigned At Crater Lake

Paul A. Larson of Flaming Gorge Recreation Area has been selected to fill the
position of chief of interpretation and resource management at Crater Lake
National Park.
He succeeds Marshall B. Evans, who recently was assigned the positioned of
management assistant at Crater Lake, according to park Superintendent Donald
Spalding.
Larson entered the National Park Service in 1948 at Rocky Mountain National
Park. He was chief park ranger at Flaming Gorge before being transferred to
Crater Lake National Park. The Larson family includes wife Nancy and five
children.
