Park Service Men Retire, Transfer

Washington (AP) - Retirement of one veteran National Park Service official and transfer of five others is announced by Secretary of the Interior Chapman.

Superintendent Ernest P. Leavitt of Crater Lake National Park in Oregon will retire March 14 after nearly 42 years with the Park Service.

John E. Wosky, assistant superintendent of Yosemite National Park in California will succeed him.

Harold L. Bill, now assistant superintendent of Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington, will succeed Wosky. Curtis K. Skinner, chief park ranger at Yellowstone National Park, in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, will become assistant superintendent at Mt.
