Visitor Total Nears Record

MEDFORD (AP)—Supt. Donald M. Spalding says Crater Lake National Park had its second highest visitation on record during 1968.

A total of 578,271 persons visited the park last year, second only to 1962 when 592,424 persons visited. Last year's figure represents a 15 per cent increase over 1967.
