Raymond C. Stickler has been appointed superintendent of the Whitman Mission National Historic Site.

Stickler has been with the National Park Service since 1939. He held several administrative positions at Crater Lake National Park, Oregon, prior to his transfer to Olympic National Park as administrative officer in 1951.
