A mountaineering club co-founded by William Steel, many of it's early activities were in support of National Park status for Crater Lake.
Civilian Conservation Corps
From 1933-1941, the CCC contributed greatly to the maintenance and development of Crater Lake N.P.
Friends of Crater Lake National Park
Founded in 1993, the Friends is a non-profit cooperating with the NPS in the stewardship of the natural and cultural resources of Crater Lake N.P.
U.S. Geological Survey
From 1883 to the present, the U.S.G.S. has conducted a large amount of research. And, many of it's members were involved in the establishment of Crater Lake N.P.
