President Harrison sets aside Crater Lake Forest Reserve while Congress contemplates the Crater Lake National Park Bill.

The Crater Lake State Park bill again passes the Senate. Federal money is provided for roads.

October 30

Highest recorded level of the Lake. Drops 16 feet to a record low in 1940, but regains nearly all of the loss by 1958.
