Mount Scott Fire Lookout

A plan for a new fire lookout on Mount Scott had been approved by 1940. Revised plans for the structure in 1947 included the addition of a storage space under the building, a gutter to supply water to a storage tank under the lookout room, and more equipment, furnishings, and appliances. The new structure was built in 1952. [Historic Resource Study]
