Ruth Hopson Keen

In 1950, Ruth Hopson Keen became the first woman to fill the role of Ranger Naturalist at Crater Lake National Park. Ruth worked the month of June, then taught at the Park under Dr. Rule. She gave her programs in the Lodge and lived for two summers with the Leavitts.
