Issues
Issues and concerns related to this proposal
were identified from past planning efforts, input from park employees, the
public, American Indian tribes, and state and federal agencies. The major issues
relate to potential impacts to biotic communities; threatened and endangered
species and species of concern; soils and geology; cultural resources; visitor
use, traffic, and highway safety; park operations; air quality; and noise.
