Crater Lake is six and one half miles long four and a
quarter miles wide. Its depth varies up to 2000 feet. It is
entirely surrounded by steep volcanic cliffs, upon one of
which is situated the lodge, 1000 feet above the water's
edge. A wonderful view of the lake and surrounding peaks and
forests can be had from the Lodge veranda.
