Description

Back Caption: Crater Lake's dwelling place is known as Mount Mazama, and is located in Southern Oregon. This broken mountain with its lofty crags, soars seven and eight thousand feet above sea level. The lake that lies within its precipitous circling walls, is a thousand or more feet below the rim, and is one of the deepest fresh water lakes on earch, --a vast glittering body of water of deepest indigo.
