The image
for this puzzle was adapted from a painting commissioned by the Crater Lake
Institute.
After 500 lava tubes that snake their ways downslope, a thin
layer of soil on top supports a truly amazing array of
plants, animals and birds.
Each puzzle
comes with a numbered key drawing and corresponding list
to help you understand the painting better.
Also, each "Eifert" puzzle features an
interpretive essay by the artist that takes you on a
'nature walk' right in your own home.
