Objectives: Inventory park lands for individuals and pairs of spotted owl (strix occidentallis). Identified pairs will be banded and locations will be recorded. This information will be used in comparison with pairs in non-stable environments on surrounding national forests.

Findings and Status:  Two nesting pairs of spotted owls and two other separate individuals, one of the pairs produced two offspring.
