Objectives: The basic goal of the Visibility Monitoring Program is to permit the NPS and other Federal Land Management (FLM) Agencies to protect the air quality related values of Class I lands. Other objectives are: establish baseline data and trends of fine particulate concentrations; determine the relationship between visibility impairment and various atmospheric particulate constituents; determine the existing sources of particles producing visibility impairment; determine the sensitivity of visibility impairment at individual sites to varying concentrations of particles.

Findings and Status: Seasonal summaries for Fall and Winter 1990; and Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter 1991 will be sent to the site operator in a seperate mailing.
