Objectives: Survey the lake for hydra.

Findings and Status:  One day (8-26-96) was spent collecting along the western shore of Wizard Island. About 150 individual hydra were observed. 15 polyps were brought into the laboratory. They represent three species. Presently working on specific identities which requires laboratory cultivation.
